To better reflect what the site is all about, Digest Family History is to become Knottingley Family History and to mark the change of identity the website has a completely new look. No more will you need seperate log-in's to access our forum - the new site uses a single log-in to give you access to everything you have become accustomed to so far as well as a whole host of other enhancements.

The new site uses a 'community' program/script so each member has their own profile and can connect with 'friends' (other members) who have similar interests. Each members also has their own blog and can upload photographs to their own photo albums to share with other members. Now, not only can you view our wealth of family history records and information but you can also help contribute to the content and overall interest of the site yourself, making it more attractive and appealing for everyone.

If you have any interest in Knottingley Family History or Knottingley History or even simply Knottingley in general, then why not consider joining us and becoming part of our 'community'. And yes, that does include Ferrybridge too!

Having spent some long hours getting the new site ready I have to say that I am delighted with how it has worked out and how the site looks in general and even though there are one or two insignificant disadvantages to be overcome in the way the family tree is displayed this may not even be apparent to many members but it will eventually be remedied when a new 'component' is eventually released.
