A sign of the credit crunch perhaps, but please, don't register for access to the Digest Family History database and then contact me saying you cannot gain access after you have already taken the information you desire. My membership software records every instance of a member logging into the family history website and is proof that they have indeed accessed the members area. I will not offer any further refunds of membership subscriptions where evidence proves that a member has previously accessed the website. If anyone has any genuine problems accessing the members area after successful registration then I will be only to pleased to assist in any way I can but do be patient as I cannot be in front of my computer 24 hours per day.

In addition, even though 'Ancestry' may offer free trial subscriptions, it is not financially viable for me to offer free trials on the Digest Family History website. If the cost of a subscription is beyond your means then dispose of your computer entirely and save on the electricty it consumes. Please don't contact me requesting a free trial simply because 'Ancestry' or any other organistaion offer them.

That's it for now, but at least it makes a refreshing change from everyone complaining about the cost of the Digest magazine!
