Local enthusiast Ron Gosney has been actively compiling an index to late nineteenth century coroners inquest reports and we will be making that index available to you in the near future. The index covers coroners reports from the whole county but where specific reports are of local interest these transcripts have been included on Digest Family History and currently we have 22 reports featured in our members area.

Our collection of memorial transcriptions now stands in excess of 400 and many of these have an associated photograph. I will continue to add to that collection over the coming days. I have also included several more marriage records, all including the names of the bride and grooms father and his occupation. Our family tree continues to expand and there are now more than 8,400 individuals recorded on it. Some of the more prominent and distinguished families from the town are now well represented.
