Established in the middle of 2007 our 'Family Tree Database' relating to the West Yorkshire town of Knottingley comprises in excess of 10,000 individuals and 700 Memorial Transcriptions and our new family records database promises to add an even greater resource for compiling local family histories with full details of over 1,700 marriages already available. We have a lot of information, family records, memorial inscriptions and local history articles to include but the amount of time it takes means that we can only offer this information to registered subscribers.
In addition to our family tree and associated records, we will also be featuring a number of new and previously unpublished articles, the first of which, 'The Carter Family and Lime Grove', is already available and this will be followed by a history of the parish church of St. Botolph, as well as a number of other previously unpublished articles concerning our local history. Our new and exclusive database of Wooden Sailing Ships, providing details of the vessels and their owners, is also now available and this will be gradually expanded over the coming months. In order for us to continue to expand this website we require the regular support of our members and in order to access our records you must be a registered member and have paid a subscription fee.
